Having more free time lately I managed to progress with the Stalin beast. The Lifecolor paints faded nicely after filters and brownish washes and the tortoise is being brought to life. As you can see the initially vivid colors, after a layer of clear gloss and artistic oil paint based media turned out very well into the desired color palette. I usually choose a lighter color for soviet world war II armor and this one was no exception.
Further weathering will be made with the use of Lifecolor pigments. As for now tracks were fitted for the photo purpose and will be dismounted from the tank for further weathering process. Note the glossy appearance of the model is due to the yet visible gloss cote.
